Odia and Oriya typing use the same script
Odia is also listed as Oriya in older keyboard and font menus. Both names lead to the Odia script on this page. Type namaskar for ନମସ୍କାର and use the suggestions to check your spelling.
Check vowel signs and joined consonants after conversion. Roman spellings vary between writers, especially for names. If a word looks wrong, try its full pronunciation and choose another suggestion.
The output is Unicode Odia. Older Akruti and other font-based documents may store characters differently. This page creates new Odia text from Roman words; it does not convert those legacy document encodings.
